Today we had Joe, his mom and uncle, Haig, and Mark out for some toggin. Conditons were pretty bad with 25 to 30 knot NW, so we tried some bass trolling along the beach. We were only able to pick a couple of shorts for the first half of the trip. The wind layed off just a little so we went to one of our inshore drops for some tog. It took a little to get on the bite but the crew tallied 10 keepers and about 40 throwbacks with Mark taking big fish honors of 7.5lbs. Thanks for hanging in there everyone and look forward to fishing with you again.

Capt. Tom

12-8
In the atfernoon we had the Steve Klien charter on the ocean front for some bass fishing. We started off where we were in the morning with Adam's trip and only pulled a couple of shorts, so we picked up and ran up the beach looking for something better. And we did! We put the boat back on the troll and had fish on in short order, 2 and 3 on at a time! The guys tallied 24 bass in a short time, put 1 in the box at 33" and pulled the hook on another keeper on the leader. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

Today we had Mark, Liz, Rob, Dwight, Brian, and friend out for a tog trip. We had great weather, a little tricky on the hook with the variable wind directions but not bad. 3 out of our 6 anglers were introduced to toggin today. We tallied about 100 fish with 17 going into the box to 6lbs. Beautiful day on the water with fish coming over the rail. Thanks for fishing with us everyone and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-29 PM
In the afternoon we had an open boat consisting of Mark, Liz, Tony, Tony, Tony, and Frank. Conditions were much tougher with dirty water and the temp dropping 5 degrees on the ebb tide. We did find a place that was holding some fish but were only able to connect with 5 bass with one being 32" for the box. We had several bites that just wouldn't committ. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-29 AM
Saturday morning we had the Lance Bringham charter with Drew, Mike, and Matt on board. It didn't take long to get a couple of bites and put a few fish in the boat. Only thing is that they were only 27-27.75". We made a little move and found a real good bite putting 20 fish in the boat but only 1 keeper. We also had alot bites and several fish hooked up that came unbuttoned. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-28
Black Friday we had Mark, Liz, Steve, Joe, and Dave out for their open boat trip. Liz got us started off on the first drift putting a 29"er  in the box. We had on and off action the whole trip totalling 18 bass with 6 going in the box to 36". Thanks for fishing with us guys and looking forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-27
Thanksgiving morning we had Mark, Mike, and James out for some more fall striper action. We had constant action all morning with multiple hook ups every drift until the tide died. At slack water we tried some trolling and started hooking up immediately. The guys tallied 35 bass, keeping their limit and bonus tags were filled. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-26
Wednesday we had a great open boat crew out on the ocean front for some bassin. The hard South blow from the day before scattered the bait and the fish but the guys toughed it out and put a catch together by the end of the day. In total we had 14 bass with 2 going in the box to 36". Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-23
Sunday we had the Peter Gabriel charter out in the afternoon. After the blow the day before the rips where pretty much unfishable with the dirty water. We ran up the beach and put the boat on troll for the entire trip. We had a steady pick of fish throughout the entire trip. The guys tallied 35 bass with 19 of them keepers! The biggest pulled the scale down to 25lbs and we also had 5 more over 20lbs, with the rest of the keepers between 29" and 36". Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-22
Saturday we had the Dennis Clancy charter out for their tog/striper combo trip. With the 30-35 knot winds the tog portion of the trip was out but the guys got on some great bassin! The guys boxed 6 bass out of 40 boated and some big blues. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-19
We had Mark, Barry, and Jay out with us. We ran up the beach looking for birds and bait and we found em big time! The guys jigged and live baited 50 bass with 3 going in the box and 25 blues. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

Myself, Capt. Sr., and Tony T headed out today for some toggin. Fishing was good with more keepers than throwbacks. We pulled a limit of tog to 5lbs in less than 2 hrs. We couldn't get to where we wanted to because of the 30knot winds. Call if you would like to jump on for some great action on some hard fighting fish!

Capt. Tom

11-14 PM
In the afternoon, we had the Peter Burns tandem trip out with Skip from the Stalker taking the other half of the crew. Fishing remained outstanding with an 11 man limit and threw back almost that many again. Tom took big fish honors with a 37lber! Alot of 30" to 35" fish in the mix with several 20+lbers going in the box. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-14 AM
Friday morning we had Kevin, John and Joe out on board. A big SSE heave bucking the tide made some pretty big curls in the area we were fishing, we had a few bites but not much going on. We made a move and it payed off big! The guys tallied 15 bass with 5 going in the box to 36". We had out limit out fish hooked several times but pulled some hooks and missed some bites. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-12
This morning we had 6 open boaters out trying to live bait some bass. The guys put together a decent catch with 10 bass and 3 going in the box to 29lbs. and some big bluefish.  We also missed alot of other bites. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

In the afternoon we had another annual veterans day trip with the Tony Tartaglia party. We ran up the beach looking to jig some bass, we found plenty of pods of fish but the bass were scarce. Lots of blues, probably around 80 fish for the day, we were finally able to locate some bass and landed about 20 with 3 keepers to 32". Thanks guys and see you again same time next season.

Capt. Tom

11-11 am
This morning we had the Andy Rice charter out for their annual veterans day trip. We were able to get a pick of fish throughout the trip landing 8 bass with 6 going in the box. The biggest were a couple of 36"ers. Thanks guys and see you nest fall!

Capt. Tom

Monday morning we had the Barry Bravette charter out. Dirty water and 25 knot winds really hampered the fishing as the guys managed 4 bass with 1 29"er going in the box. We made a move up the ocean front and found some scattered birds working. No bass but the guys managed 20 big blues between 10 and 18lbs. Thanks for fishing with us and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

11-9
Sunday afternoon we had John Gonsorick, his son, wife, and friend out for a beautiful, flat calm day on the ocean. We had a pretty steady pick of fish throughout the trip but were only able to manage 2 for the box. We made one last move to try and find some bigger fish before the tide went slack and on 3 passes we hooked 4 fish landing 3 of the them, 22lbs, 25lbs, and 28lbs. Managed 14 bass with 5 keepers. Thanks for fishing with us and look forward to doing it again.

Capt.Tom

We had the Harry West charter out on Friday night for an overnight tuna trip. Tuna reports weren't great but we gave it a shot anyhow with the good weather forecasted. We had a couple of mahi bites on the troll Friday afternoon but none came tight. Overnight we put a couple mahi in the box, released a small mako and broke off a nice swordfish. In the morning the crew enjoyed some light tackle mahi action boating about 20 mahi up to 28lbs. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

8-29
Friday we had Nick, Nick, and Joe Funari back out for another round with some big bluefins. This trip proved to be a little slower, but once we got some current moving around 9:30am Nick hooked up right away with a nice fish on a jig. After about 5 minutes we broke the fish off only to find that the split ring on the jig straightened out! Soon after Joe was hooked up with a real nice fish. Unforunately we pulled the hook after the fish almost spooled a 30W tiagra. Set the baits back out and bam fish on again for Nick. After 30+ minutes the 57", 103lb bluefin hit the deck. We wrapped up and head for home after that. Thanks again for fishing with us guys and see you in the fall for your striper trip.

Monday we had Nick Funari and his sons, Nick and Joe, out for some bluefin. Things started off great! While setting out the trolling spread we had 3 lines go down with 2 coming tight. The boys got a couple of small yellowfin to the boat, releasing one and boxing one. Got the baits back in and Nick hooked up with another keeper yellowfin. We worked off a short way and found a scallop boat holding some bluefin. We made about 10 throws hooking up 5 and bringing 2 to the boat. The fish we kept weighed in at 114lbs and the other was the same. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

Friday we had Peter, Tom, Tim, Kevin, and Rich out to get another shot at some bruiser bluefin. We got set up in the same spot as the week before and marked bait and tuna but just couldn't get a bite. Made a little move and some of the same. Made a small adjustment to the rigs and in a minute we had the first fish on! Peter did a great job landing a 57"er in 15 minutes. Reset the lines and within 15 minutes we were tight on another. We got several looks at this fish and he was big! All 4 guys got a chance to fight this fish. We could have taken this fish a couple times with a harpoon but we already had our over 47" fish in the box. We eventually chafed through the leader after an hour and forty minutes but it was a released fish none the less. This fish was mid to high 60" range and probably close to 175lbs. After the fight we wrapped up and headed to the barn. Back at the dock, Peter's fish weighed in at 110lbs. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Today we had the Bob Woodman charter out for our first bluefin trip of the year. We did a little looking around and found what we were looking for, dropped the hook, and got the spread set. Missed the first bite on a jig then hooked up on the bait rod after about 10 minutes of fishing. The rod went back and forth a few times between anglers, but after 30 minutes we had a 55"er in the box. Reset and 30 minutes later we were tight on another. Bob got this one to the boat in about 15 minutes and released a 52"er. We had fairly steady bites up to 7:30 when the tide, and the bite, died. So we pulled the hook, made a little move and went on the drift. 15 minutes into the drift, Mike hooked up a big fish on a diamond jig. Mike did a great job and fought the fish for 3 hours to boat side. The fish measured 65" and was around 150lbs. which was released. We wrapped up and headed home after that one. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

We had Ron, Scott, Joe, Jeff, and Joe out for a shared charter today running right back to where we had the fish the day before. Being Saturday, the boat traffic was ridiculous, so we head off and had fish pretty much to ourselves all day. We had over 35 bites today with 12 fish coming to the boat, keeping 9 and releasing 3. We had some bigger fish today, 35-65lbs, wtih most being in the 40-45lb range. Perfect conditions and a great crew made for a great day. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

Today we had the Mark Lucier charter out along with his wife Liz and their friend Bill. We started fishing at the 100 line around 6am. I could only get 6 out of the 9 lines in before we had 5 yellowfin on landing 3. The rest of the day we picked at the fish tallying 7 tuna out of about 18 bites, keeping 5 from 35-45lbs and missing a white. We had a great time with all of you and look forward to doing it again!

Just Capt Sr and myself on the boat yesterday, baits in by 5:30 and the first yellowfin of the season for us hit the deck at 6:00. Tons of action throughout the day with 26 yellowfin brought to the boat out of 50-60 bites. Lost some fish due to mutiple hookups and only one angler. We also went 0 for 3 on bigeyes. Two mutiple misses on the bars and one hooked up for about 10 mins. Saw the fish take the bait 20ft off the transom, easy 5 1/2+ foot fish. Fish ranged in size from barely legal to 75lbs and everywhere in between. We have this weekend and plenty of weekday availability for canyon fishing and whatever else you would like to fish for, give a call to jump on.

Capt. Tom

5-25 PM
This afternoon we had the Nick Frontuto charter out along with Rich, Mike, Pete, and Lou. We set out in search of drum, the bite started rather slow but we were able to squeek out a few fish for the trip. Lou connected on both of our drum landing a 70lber followed by a 35lber. Both fish were released. Looking forward to doing it again guys.

Capt. Tom

5-25 AM
This morning we had Jay, Tom, John, and Aaron out for our first flounder charter of the season. We hit the back waters and we had a steady pick of fish throughout the trip. The guys put 3 keepers in the box to just shy of 6lbs and had around 30 throwbacks. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

5-21
Today we had Phil and his private charter back out to the drum grounds. Our first drop only produced junk, so when made a move outside by ourselves and it didn't take long to get our first drum in the boat. The guys tallied 15 drum to 70lbs only keeping 2. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

5-20
Today we had Jay and the boys out for some drumming hoping to pick up where we left off on Sunday. We set up on the same numbers with a few good marks but only produced two fish. So we made a move and it payed off. Before we could get all the lines in, Tom was hooked up. When that fish hit the deck, 3 more rods folded over. We picked at the fish the rest of the trip and when the dust settled we had 12 drum to 90lbs. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

5-18
No charter today, so myself and my girlfriend Jeanine went out drum fishing for a couple of hours. The bite was definitely on, as I didn't fish and Jeanine proceeded to land 10 drum to 85lbs in 2 hrs.

Within 10 minutes we had two drum on and picked away at them the rest of the trip. The crew tallied 16 drum, a limit plus one. Most of the fish we of the smaller variety but we did manage some big ones to 70lbs. Thanks for fishing with us everyone and look forward to doing it again.

This morning we had the Kevin Fitzgerald charter out for some spring linesiders. We got the best bait we could find and made a long run up the bay looking for fish coming out of the river. We had a slow morning with some hits that the fish just dropped the baits. Finally, just before the end of the trip, Kevin connected and landed a 24lb striper. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.

Capt. Tom

5-3
Today we had Pat's  tandem trip with Skip from the Stalker. We set up on some marks and it didn't take long to put the first drum of the season in the box. Skip moved in and got on the bite as well. The two boats tallied 5 drum to 30lbs and had many other bites. Things are definitely starting to get going again and the stripers on their way back down the river. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again. Skip, as always, a pleasure working with you.

Capt. Tom

4-25
This morning we had the Brian Coady charter out for their striper charter. We looked around a new area and had some good marks so we gave it a shot. We had a steady pick of stripers throughout the trip boating 14 fish and keeping 4. The guys also had 20 or so more bites and pulled the hook on a couple of definite keepers behind the boat. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to fishing with you on your tuna charter this summer.

Capt. Tom

Today we had the Rich Wayne charter out with his brother Mike and friends Jim and AL. Fishing started off slow with a couple of throwback stripers and some missed bites, but toward the end of the trip the fish really turned on. The guys tallied 4 keeper stripers and about 30 throwbacks. We had small pods of fish moving through at times and had double and triple hook ups. Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to fishing with you again for your fall striper trip.

Capt. Tom

Today we had the Jerry Keer charter out. Things started a little slow for us with some bites that didn't come tight on the first two drops, but the third spot seemed to be the charm. The crew had close to 100 bites today and landing 35 bass with 4 keepers to 36". Thanks for fishing with us guys and look forward to doing it again.
